The hand is one of the most distinctive traits of people.

The hands are notably unique. They are the tools given for the expression of Man’s creativity. Man’s creative thoughts are born into this world either through words or the actions of the hands!

The Mishna lists all of the bones in a person’s body. (Aholos 1-8)

Relating to the arm, it lists:

• 30 bones in each hand

• 2 bones in each lower arm

• 2 bones in each elbow

• 1 bone in each upper arm

The tiny bones are called sesamoids and are about as small as sesame seeds. Chazal knew all about them!!
