Gifts of The Nessiim #2

The nessiim of the 12 shevatim each donated one oxen and 1/2 of a wagon to The Mishkan.  These were split between the families of the Leviim.   Gershon got 1/3 of the donation. Merari got 2/3 of the donation, and Kehos got none of it.  (Bamidbar 7: 3-9)

Question: How many oxen and wagons did each family of the Levites get?

Answer:

12 x 1 = 12 oxen

12 x 1/2 = 6 wagons

Gershon got 1/3 = 4 oxen and 2 wagons

Merari got 2/3 = 8 oxen and 4 wagons

and Kehos got none = 0 oxen and 0 wagons.
