AES My Handwriting Workbook Level 1

This curriculum includes the following skills:

• Proper writing posture and pencil grip
• Starting letters at the top
• Forming all the letters in the alphabet
• Forming numbers 0-9

Features of Handwriting Workbook:

• Students begin the year learning to draw lines and shapes and finish the year writing words and phrases
• Every lesson begins with an engaging, colorful, and fun “hook” activity designed to engage students’ prior knowledge and facilitate student interest in the lesson
• Each letter formation is introduced via a clear visual model along with step-by-step oral instructions to reinforce new concepts in a multisensory format
• The supplemental USB drive holds flashcards that model each letter’s formation. Teachers can print out these flashcards for students to keep near their desks and reference as needed
