Vayigash: Shevatim’s Clothing

Yaakov had 12 sons including Yosef. When Yosef sent his brothers back to their father from Mitzrayim he gave them each a change of clothing. He gave his youngest brother Binyamin a total of five changes of clothing [Bereishis 45:22].

Question: How many sets of clothing did he give to his brothers overall?

Answer: 12 brothers – 2 brothers (Yosef and Binyamin) = 10 brothers

10 brothers x 1 set of clothing = 10 sets

Binyamin got 5 sets 

10 sets + 5 sets = 15 sets
