Animals on the Teyvah

Noach (Noah) was told to bring seven males and seven females of each kosher animal to the Teva (Ark). Noach was also told to bring one male and one female of each non-kosher animal. [Bereishis (Genesis) 6:19].

Question: What is the the total number of goats, horses, chickens and monkeys?

Answer:

Goats: 7 male + 7 female = 14 goats

Horses: 1 male + 1 female = 2 horses

Chickens: 7 male + 7 female = 14 chickens

Monkeys: 1 male + 1 female = 2 monkeys

Total: 14 goats + 2 horses + 14 chickens + 2 monkeys = 32 animals
