Daughters of Royalty

Daughters of Royalty is an accompaniment to the book “To Vanquish the Dragon” by Pearl Benisch and contains a sampling of excerpts from the book which discuss the topic of the Jewish woman in the Holocaust. Some of the subtopics that are examined are the Jewish woman versus G-d, herself and the Jewish nation. Each excerpt is followed by comprehension questions and other activities. There is also a focus on the language structure and grammar of the text. This workbook can be used to help the students navigate and understand as they read the book.
